Yeast is in fact a fungus that generally appears in your body, but which can overgrow, causing burning, itchiness or redness. Apply a cotton ball that you have initially soaked in oil on the affected area and leave it rest overnight. The irritation and itchiness should be reduces by the morning. However, we recommend you to be cautious and stop the treatment if you feel uncomfortable.
Usually, there is a small percent of women who suffer from chronic yeast infections, which keep coming back. In this sense, it is very important to take some drugs, such as fluconazole once a week for about 6 months. This medicine, has a positive effect and prevents the infection from appearing again and again.
Boric acid has antiseptic and anti fungal properties, being a very good remedy in the fight against normal yeast infection. Place a suppository that contains this ingredient and use it up to 7 days. Never apply the powder directly on the infection as it can worsen it.
