Panaritium is a localized infection at the toes or nails. The condition is quite common and occurs as a result of the penetration of a germ (staphylococcus or streptococcus) into one of the fingers as a result of a plague or sting, usually in the areas adjacent to the nail.
Below are some remedies to get rid of nail infection:
Before starting any remedy you have to wash well the area with hydrogen peroxide in a 3% concentration.
A very good natural remedy that gets you rid of nail infection quickly is cabbage leaf. Crush slowly the cabbage leaf with a meat hammer then apply it on the infected area and let it act overnight. Make a bandage from the cabbage leaf and tie it with a shoe lace or something.
Vinegar is very efficient. All you have to do is to dip the affected finger or toe in a bowl with a solution of 3 parts vinegar and 2 parts water for 30 minutes.
Just soak a compress in propolis tincture and apply it on the affected area like a bandage. Let it act for 30 minutes. Repeat this procedure 3 times a day.
